Using my own method of applying layers of paint and then scraping back, I work until the painting looks like it has reached a conclusion.
Often I start a project with an idea or respond to a situation or emotion but I can also experiment having no preconceived idea
just a spontaneous reaction to what I have applied to the canvas.
